Just got word from the Editor of the Festival for Poetry, Matthew, that my poem ” They bite the hand that feeds them” has been promoted at the best of new poems from around the world in February 2017. A big surprise as I didn’t expect it! It is poem that resonates with me and encapsulates a lot of my thoughts recently. Thank you all, the Editor and my fellow poets who have been like family on WP.

Very many thanks, Michael! You won’t believe it but this poem has seen 2 rejections so far before submitting it to the festival. I didn’t expect it to run, let alone be promoted like this. It is a poem that came from the heart and I was bummed when I got the first rejection. Anyways, thank you very much for always reading, commenting and supporting me! Blessings to you from Greece!

That’s the most consistent advice I have read from experienced writers, not all rejections are about the writing. Happy you found a home for it.
Peace from Texas. ☺
