Our Poetry Group [of about 100 poets from 45 different countries, worldwide] is sponsoring an international poetry contest, that allows for up to 25 entries per school that participate.

The theme is “Poetry Against Terror”.

Submission limited to 1 poem /each student. No Fees requested.
Poem lenght: 25 lines or less.
Hate has not to be expressed in the poems.

See the attached information on the contest (Flyer).

The top 50 poems will be published in an ebook and receive an official commentary.

We are really interested in supporting young writers, so while we plan to highlight the top poems, we will most likely publish all of them, within reason.

The adult poets involved in this contest have published an ebook, which is available on Amazon.com (see: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B019M1J0DU ; the book is 99 cents, but will soon be free on Smashwords.com).

Up to now, we have had participation from: Bangladesh, the Phillipines, USA (: Texas and Virginia).

This is the first time we’ve reached out to students, therefore we look forward to seeing what they submit. So far, we’ve been so impressed with their writing.
