“Guns and Bullets”in the poetry against terror anthology on Amazon.com

imageA month ago I and Leloudia Migdali were asked to participate in this anthology  representing the voice of Greece against terrorism. I am so glad I participated thanks to the Italian publisher Fabrizio Frosini who kindly invited me to write a poem against terrorism. The anthology is  finally out. My poem “Guns and Bullets” speaks volumes against the  social plague called terrorism. Astonishingly, 64 poets from all over the world participated in the project and their work is truly amazing. For those who wanna read the anthology and my poem “Guns and Bullets” download “POETRY AGAINST TERROR” at Amazon.com FOR FREE in the next five days!

GUNS AND BULLETS BY SOFIA KIOROGLOU

Eternal world redeemers try to save the world
with guns and bullets in people’s heads
with endless obituaries of innocent people
entombed in epitaphs of dreams and hopes.

Sugar-coated venom purported as nostrums
to cure all pain and eradicate symptoms
of an ostensibly robust epidermis
reeking of visceral galloping putrefaction.

*The poem is part of an anthology poetry project themed “Poetry against Terrorism” in E-book form. For those who wanna read the anthology and my poem “Guns and Bullets”, download “POETRY AGAINST TERROR” at Amazon.com FOR FREE in the next five days!
